Three-Day Parent & Family Schedule
Day 1
Morning 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- The airport shuttle will run during this time, in a constant rotation from Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport to Wall/Gates and back to the airport.
Morning 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM
- RRO Check-in at Wall/Gates Residence Hall (Lunch will not be provided)
Afternoon
- Parent & Family Welcome Session
- Parent Raider2Raider
- Student Organization Fair
- University Career Services Fair
- Student Business Services & Student Financial Aid Presentations
Evening
- Dinner with your Student
- TTU History and Traditions Skits
Day 2
Morning
- Parent & Family Academic Welcome
- Academic College presentations at your student’s College
Afternoon
- Information Sessions from various campus departments and services
- City of Lubbock Tours
- Student Business Services and Financial Aid Tables open for individual questions
Evening
- Taste of Lubbock (Dinner on your own)
- Parent & Family Reception at Jones AT&T Stadium
Day 3
Morning
- Parent & Family Closing Ceremony
- Meet with various campus departments and services
11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- The airport shuttle will run during this time, in a constant rotation from Wall/Gates to Gordon Hall to Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport and back to Wall/Gates. The LAST shuttle will leave campus at 2:30PM.
One-Day Parent & Family Schedule

- Check-in for RRO – Student Union Building
- Meet with various campus departments and services
- Welcome Session
