Red Raider Orientation is designed to assist you as you transfer to Texas Tech!
For Red Raider Orientation, Transfer students are broken down into two groups:

• Transfer students with 29 Credits and below.
• Transfer students with 30 Credits and above.

Transfer students with 29 Credits and below:

These students will attend a 3-Day New Student RRO Session.

Transfer students with 30 Credits and above:

These students will have the option of attending a 3-Day New Student RRO Session or a 1-Day Transfer RRO Session.

We know you’ve been to college before; we just want to help you be successful at Texas Tech. While at RRO you will:

• Meet other new students
• Get advice from current Texas Tech students
• Meet with your academic advisor
• Register for classes
• Learn Texas Tech traditions
• Learn about Texas Tech resources and departments
