Texas Tech University was created by legislative action in 1923 and has the distinction of being the largest comprehensive higher education institution in the western two-thirds of the state of Texas.

Each year 40 students are selected from hundreds to represent the 10 colleges of Texas Tech (Arts & Sciences, Architecture, Engineering, etc). The 20 men and 20 women become The Crew. Following a thorough training program, the 40 counselors guide new students at RRO! Along the way these 40 counselors have fun, make hundreds of new friends, and share their Raider pride!
